It’s aaaaalways exciting to review my year back, looking
backward to the up and down moment and mixed feelings. Two years before, I did
(literally) monthly year review (2010 and 2011), this time….gonna do it in a
refreshingly different way. Inspired by my blogger fella, muthia syarifa yani,
who did it first with her top 10 everything in my 2012 life, I’m gonna do
mine…. “A (so-many-highlights) year in my life (2012)” dari yang paling penting
sampe yang paling gak penting.
Spending the new year (2012): bandung, with the babies. Sleeping,
instead of galauing the no-pacar condition.
Song that so-2012: someone like you-adele. Like fireworks-katy
perry at 2011
Best buddies:
- Tyka Ramona. Movies soulmate, the 10 years pals.
- Lu’lu Nurul Jannati. Wise grandma, the 10 years pals.
- Meka Yusselda. Absolutely-the-friend section leader, everybody’s consultant.
- Adlina Nuryuni Putri. Promiscuous one.
- Talitha Ulima Sofyana. Best industrial-engineer fella.
Best gift: The adorable, mature, talented, passionate,
charming, mess, sleep disorder, belly cancerian smoker. Budi Hartanto.
Best family unit: Madah Bahana, percussion, especially the
battery ranger.
Saddest moment: Seeing my mom cried, in front of my eyes,
because of her heartless and selfish daughter, me. (July 26th)
Most unlucky moment: riding motorcycles, 2 hours lost in
mountain, uphill road, didn’t wear jacket, jurang di kanan kiri, carrying my younger
sister with no helmet. Arrived at Joger bedugul and had no money, my ATM card
left. Went home and…. Flat tire on the way back. (August 20th)
Most ngenes thing: cemong. Facial laser to clean the cemong
up from my face. Spf 50 sunblock from Natasha skin doctor special only for weekend
exercise (February 18th) + good-for-sport sun whitening lotion
(march 19th)
Almost-collapse moment: weekend exercise at lapangan hoki
while fasting, and…. Tanah abang shopping while fasting (too).
First time caught by public: pusgiwa-kutek night
walk…..gandengan like a truck and suddenly anak-anak MB passed us by….let the
rumor spread (june 17th)

modus-semodusnya: jalan malam perkusi ke kemang then woke up in the morning feeling
like rainbow (may 17th)
Feel like auntie moment: ketemu temennya budi yang lagi
belanja sama istrinya……dan lagi hamil (September 2nd)
Most bitch thing I do: on june 3rd
2012 target came true: culan. Actually nargetin april, and
KKPP (kapanku punya pacar) finally answered at july.
On boyfriend’s birthday: struggling to get….ice cream then
culling-culling (ngecul) over the night. Rainbow cake hunting, gift hunting
(the hush puppies, baju koko, bolu). Ngobroling at strawberry café. Next day,
the battery ranger prepared the “ramuan” to “flush” him but the bloon udin give
him the ramuan back, iyuh….so there was midnight kejar-kejaran between coach
and the ranger even up to the FT (faculty of engineering). And (again) the
bloon udin left his motor demi gak dikejar sama budi sampe hampir jatoh, the
other did the escape dengan lari terluntang-lanting and maximizing the
speedometer a.k.a naik motor ngebut-ngebutan. (june 24th-26th)
Delayed-date: Planetarium. Instead, the boring total recall.

- Jalan raya, ngelawan arus, gak pake helm, gak punya stnk, plat kadaluarsa, ngeklakson orang, taunya...polisi patroli (april 7th)
- Jam 12 kurang 15 malem naik bikun berdua. Bapak2nya cerita pernah ngangkut 3 penumpang ilang satu. Damn. Ke kosan sendiri lari terbirit-birit (april 15th)
- Lagi sibuk ngecul, tiba-tiba ada yang ngetok-ngetok (june 7th)

International Marching Band Competition
Another achievement:
- cooking (by myself) during the fasting month
- implementasi siskual gue akhirnya ada di perpustakaan…..dan masih ada sampe sekarang…..itu….denah perpustakaan yang udah diimprove proyeksinya. Liat deh ada lambang teknik industri sama astrajingga disana :’) (may 26th)
- setelah lewat 2 kali lebaran, akhirnya bisa maafin orang juga

- Area wisata bromo (tengger, semeru, pasir berbisik) August 25th
- Ponorogo (the unique taxi at alun-alun) august 27th

titanic tragedy, bombastic 3D tech. And the incident after, almost-kidnapped thrilled

Unfinished project: Video akhir tahun perkusi. Soon, I
promise ;p
Failed crush:
- Mature boy yang bikin kegeeran tingkat tinggi padahal mah emang dasarnya….
- Old lover yang cukup tau bikin hurtful udah dibela-belain kabur buat ketemu orangnya malah jauh-jauh then I decided to give up (January 14th)
- Sweet cat lover yang gak jodoh banget tiap ada moment buat ketemu pasti adaaaaaa aja halangannya

Most taking-time course: PPIC dengan naga saljunya. Yang bikin
missing rehearsal missing excitement.
Most helpful kosan: wisma tasya. My escape when the
satpams lock me out and I had nowhere to run. Pernah tidur ber6 di satu kamar
terus tiba-tiba ada cicak lompat (may 23rd) dan pernah ngebanjirin
kamar gara-gara mandi terlalu heboh

first project in madah bahana: Madah Bahana in concert
Most expensive penampilan MB: djarum Indonesia open. parade,
drumbattle (which was gajadi perform because cherrybelle took our time *even
they took our tenda artis* and we had to perform outside). Still, Indonesia
open gave us IDR 98million. Uh oh uh oh. (june 16th)
Coolest performance: Zildjian Day. On the same stage
with pro drummer like echa soemantri, gilang ramadhan (july 12th)
Most kacrut penampilan MB: RCTI euro 2012. Prepare has
long enough, udah sempet take juga. Live performance and you know what……..pas
on-air, the sound that has already taped before gak kedengeran, so they were
filming our back only for 2 minutes what kind of music we played juga gak jelas,
then….udahan gitu aja. (june 5th)
Masuk tv:
- empat mata edisi sumpah pemuda—kalo gak salah (apa udah tahun lalu ya)

Unrealized things:
- Communication visual internship for open government Indonesia
- Dream theater concert. Targeting the 300k student tix but didn’t get it padahal udah janjian sama high school DT-mate irsyad.

- Sum 41 concert with tasbeh, gajadi karena males ngeluarin duit (april 10th)
- Avenged sevenfold, in the end konsernya batal juga sih (may 1st)
- Statistic competition held by petra university
aaah how time flieees after ontang-anting 2010, galau 2011, move-on 2012….
As the New Year begins, hope the 2013 will be my glowing
fireworks ;) and maybe next year I’ll record every book I buy and read also
movies I watch
